In a nutshell, PMP stands for smart growth. Here’s what we believe:

  • We believe that there is a distinct difference between growth and smart growth. We help clients achieve the latter.
  • We believe that on-air fund raising is about more than revenue. We offer proven methods to both increase station membership revenue and strengthen a station’s position, image and brand.
  • We believe that the trusted relationship between public radio and the communities its serves should NEVER be called into question. We offer guidance on ensuring that each of our client’s campaigns are both effective AND built on solid ethical principles.
  • We believe in teaching everything we know and learning as much as possible along the way.

PMP is led by President and CEO Mike Wallace, an award-winning public media fund raising veteran. Mike has served as national advisor to stations through DEI, advised NPR, PRI and PBS on fund raising training and other initiatives, presented at national conferences such as PRDMC, PBS Dev Con, IMA and Pledge TRAC and has served on the Board of Directors for PRADO. Mike’s work on behalf of public media has been recognized nationally with three Advertising and Communications awards from PBS and a regional Edward R. Bernays Award for Excellence by PRSA.
